ICC/BUSAC FUND SENSITIZATION WORKSHOP
Sensitization Workshop on the Implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement
Date:20th February 2018
Venue:The Palms Eagle Hotel – Beach Road Takoradi, Ghana
We are pleased to inform you that following Ghana’s ratification of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) and the coming into force of the Agreement, active work is ongoing by all relevant stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the TFA Articles.
Ghana is making good progress in strengthening our competitiveness in international trade and we are particularly focusing on enhancing our trade facilitation regime to make trade easier, faster and less costly for our business community. Government of Ghana launched the paperless regime last year, and this all-of-government approach to trade procedures simplification and automation has proven very effective.
We are now organizing this sensitization workshop in collaboration with the BUSAC Fund to kick start our advocacy action on the Implementation of the Trade Facilitation Agreement.
