Chamber Partners



The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, represented by HKS Handelskammer Hamburg Service GmbH (HKS), and the Sekondi-Takoradi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (STCCI), have concluded a chamber partnership project (CPP) with the objective of improving the organization and services offered by STCCI. Project duration is from 1st September 2015 through 31st August 2021. The project is embedded in the Partnership Program for Chambers and Business Associations (KVP), which is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation (BMZ) and managed by sequa gGmbH (sequa).

The overall objective of the CPP is to improve the economic framework conditions, in particular for small and medium sized companies (SMEs), in the Western Region of Ghana. The project target is defined as follows: STCCI is capacitated in a sustainable manner and serves efficiently member companies and further companies in the Western Region.





International Labour Organisation (ILO): In 2001, the International Labor Organization published ILO-OSH 2001, also titled "Guidelines on occupational safety and health management systems" to assist organizations with introducing OSH management systems. These guidelines encourage continual improvement in employee health and safety, achieved via a constant process of policy, organization, planning, implementation, evaluation, and action for improvement, all supported by constant auditing to determine the success of OSH actions.



Energy Chamber of Trinidad & Tobago: The STCCI is being supported in the organisation of the event by the Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago, under the auspices of a memorandum of understanding signed in January 2013. The Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago has over 20 years experience in organising a very well respected annual Energy Conference in the Caribbean.
