MR ATO VAN-ESS

CHAIRMAN - STCCI

Mr Ato Van-Ess, currently the Chief Executive Officer of Eff-Ess Company Limited, is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Economics and Sociology) and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) from where he holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration.

Ato Van-Ess STCCI leadership is dedicated to providing opportunities to members to improve their businesses, the Chamber is also dedicated to impacting critical business and community issues.  It is Ato Van-Ess and STCCI’s goal to unite talented leaders in business, community, government, chamber members and professional staff to work to improve the Western Region of Ghana.

Ato Van-Ess Company, Eff-Ess Company Limited was incorporated in the year 2006. At the time, only two subsidiary business interests existed – Eff-Ess Pharmacy and Eff-Ess Consult.

Currently, Eff-Ess unifies four divisions of business: Pharmaceutical Services; Business, Financial and Operational Management Consulting; Product Services; and a Human Resource Development and Orientation Division. Together, these represent a fast-growing cluster of operations spurred on by an unceasing drive to engineer innovative products and services that meet the needs of a client base at large and varied as its scope of operation.


VINCENT ANNAN

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Mr. Vincent Annan is the CEO of the Sekondi-Takoradi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (STCCI), Ghana. He had earlier worked with the Community Governance portfolio of the Telford & Wrekin Council and Mark Education all in England between 2002 and 2004. Back in Ghana in 2005, He Joined the Obiri Lotteries as the HR manager before joining the Western Regional Branch of the Ghana Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) as the Executive Secretary.

During his time with GCCI, he facilitated the establishment some new Chambers to make business development service available to businesses in such areas as Tarkwa, Elubo and Cape Coast.

Currently, he is leading STCCI in the implementation of some key projects including an Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OHS&E) online Learning project, an annual international conference dubbed “Ghana Extractive Industry Safety Conference (GEISCon) and OHS&E systems implementation support to SMEs in the Western Region of Ghana, the hub of Ghana’s extractive industry. These are interventions for removing OHS&E standards & Compliance as entry barriers to SMEs to the Extractive Industry’s supply chain.

He has is also leading the implementation of such services as a cooperative credit union, an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) focusing on the resolution of business disputes and other local Enterprise development projects and services, all to the benefit of members of the Chamber especially those within the SME bracket.

Mr. Annan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Psychology & Management from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), specialising in Corporate Strategy from the University of Wolverhampton, England. In addition, he holds a Certificate in Project Management from Learndirect, UK.

MR EMMANUEL DIABA

He is a lawyer by profession .He has served at the bar for a number of years now.A renowned  ADR consultant and a humble person.

VICE CHAIRMAN FINANCE

MR RICHARD BENTIL

Mr. Richard Bentil the Managing Director of Bentility Ventures limited an Accredited Distributor for CIMC Dongyue Vehicles of China International Marine Container Group Company Limited has a lot of experience in managing business. Having managed a company like OTR TYRES (GHANA) LIMITED - 1993 -2009 and serving as key person in other companies he knows the plight of the business community.

 Mr. Bentil had his tertiary education at the Accra Polytechnic and the University of Ghana respectively where He studied accountancy and audit. He has studied in a number of prestigious institutions like the Equation institute of UK and The Royal society of Arts just to mention a few.

From 2000-2008 He served on the board of The Affiliate Group of the Ghana Chamber of Mines as the  Vice Chairman, with his accounting background He served as the Chairman of Western Chamber of Commerce Credit Union, Takoradi Ghana. He brings to the executive board innovative ways to finance projects.

MR MATTHEW ADE

Mr. Matthew Ade has been with the Chamber since May 2008. He is the Head of Partnership and IT Division of the Chamber. He was elected as the Treasurer of the Chamber in March 2013.

He is the Director of Coastal Network Consortium, an aggregate information and communication technologies Solution Company and Management Consultancy Service.A provider of total ICT based consultancy service. Our experienced and highly motivated staffs, many of whom have a personal stake in the company specify, design, manage, train and support complete solutions that are individually tailored to meet every unique needs.

 

EVENT EXECUTIVE

MR MICHAEL CUDJOE

MICHAEL  CUDJOE an astute business man of all standard is the managing director of Amo Delta. He holds a Bsc From Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, an MBA in Finance,Msc in Project Management( Univeristy of Liverpool) currently a  PhD candidate Business Administration.

 Mr Michael Cudjoe now the Event executive for STCCI brings to the Chamber  great knowledge from the academic field and a wide experience from the fresh produce industry and international business community.
